On Thursday 17 July 2008, Barrister Nazeer Ahmad Ghazi visited Shaykh M I H Pirzada at Jamia Al-Karam accompanied with some fellow dignitaries. Barrister Nazeer Ahmad Ghazi is the President of the International Muslim Lawyers Forum, Vice President of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan and is an advocate at the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Nazeer Ghazi had previously visited Jamia Al-Karam for a brief moment when he attended the annual Urs Conference celebrating the life, works and achievements of Diya’ al-Ummat, Justice Shaykh Muhammad Karam Shah al-Azhari (d. 1998) which took place on Sunday 6 July 2008. However, this was an opportunity for Nazeer Ghazi to meet at length with Shaykh M I H Pirzada and observe the workings of Jamia Al-Karam; which was honoured to host him for the most part of the day.

Nazeer Ghazi arrived at Jamia Al-Karam in the afternoon and was received by Shaykh M I H Pirzada. Following lunch, an extensive discussion and much deliberations followed suit. Shaykh M I H Pirzada described, in much detail, the philosophy and workings of Jamia Al-Karam; its achievements and future plans. Shaykh M I H Pirzada also discussed the workings of the four hospitals set up by the Muslim Charity in Pakistan.

Nazeer Ghazi, very passionately, talked about his many blessed moments and encounters with Shaykh Muhammad Karam Shah al-Azhari when he was a justice at the Supreme Court of Pakistan from 1982 till his death in 1998.

During the meeting, both individuals talked and shared many thoughts on a variety of subjects including the present state and functions of the Muslim community in Great Britain, its mosques and educational centres; the significance and role of Sufism in the modern western world and the necessary methodology and training required of Muslim scholars and Imams serving in Great Britain and other western countries.

Towards the end, Shaykh M I H Pirzada gifted Barrister Nazeer A Ghazi with some of his recent publications. Nazeer Ghazi was immensely overjoyed with his visit to Jamia Al-Karam and thanked all at Jamia Al-Karam for their hospitality.
