Al-Karam Secondary School once again achieves excellent GCSE results
______________

wpf79a35ed.jpg On Thursday 23 August 2007, the GCSE results for all schools in the United Kingdom were released. Topping the Nottinghamshire GCSE league with a 100% followed by 95% for the last two consecutive years, all eyes were focused on this year’s pass rate of Al-Karam Secondary School.

School members of staff who had been on their summer holiday break returned to school for the day to see the fruit of their tireless endeavours and the hard work of their pupils.

By the grace and continued favour of Allah (most high), Jamia Al-Karam’s Al-Karam Secondary School achieved an 94% pass rate at grades A*-C in a minimum of 5 subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

Subjects in which GCSE examinations were held included Science (Double Award), Mathematics, English Language, English Literature, History, Religious Studies, ICT, Arabic, Urdu and Bengali.

Haroon Saleem from West Lothian took first position achieving 3 A* grades, 4 A grades and 3 B grades. Mohammed Zamir Gara from London came in second position achieving 1 A* grade, 6 A grades and 3 B grades. Imran Azom from Bedford came in third place achieving 7 A grades and 4 B grades.

Congratulations to all the students who done well and also to the members of staff at Jamia Al-Karam.

May Allah (most high) accept these efforts and grant Jamia Al-Karam further success. Amin.
