On Saturday 29 December 2007, Shaykh Muhammad ibn Yahya al-Husayni al-Ninowy visited Shaykh M I H Pirzada at Jamia Al-Karam. He was accompanied by Dr Muhammad Ali ibn al-Siddiq al-Ghumari from Morocco as well as Muhammad Ali Dar, a graduate of Jamia Al-Karam and Al-Azhar University and an active member of the Al-Karam Scholars Association (AKSA). Upon his arrival, Shaykh Muhammad al-Ninowy was welcomed by Shaykh M I H Pirzada and the Vice Principal of Jamia Al-Karam, B H Pirzada al-Azhari. Shaykh M I H Pirzada immediately took the Shaykh on a tour of the Jamia Al-Karam campus; its academic studies area as well as the boarding facilities provided. Shaykh Muhammad al-Ninowy was present at the 27th annual Khatam-e-Nubuwwat Conference held in Birmingham in August 2007 where Shaykh M I H Pirzada announced the Al-Karam Girls School project. Thus, Shaykh Muhammad al-Ninowy was very keen to see the seven acre site where the new complex is due to be constructed. In his tour, Shaykh Muhammad al-Ninowy viewed the classrooms, ICT facilities, recreational facilities, hostel provisions, student bedroom, the mosque, etc. During his tour, he positively commented on how impressed he was by the works and achievements of Jamia Al-Karam. Salat al-Zuhr was then prayed in the mosque led by Shaykh Muhammad al-Ninowy. Following the prayer, all guests sat for a while in the guest room where both Shaykh Muhammad al-Ninowy and Shaykh M I H Pirzada conversed on a broad range of subjects including the set up and achievements of Jamia Al-Karam; its relationship with Al-Azhar University from where Shaykh Muhammad al-Ninowy graduated; the present situation of schools and mosques in the United Kingdom; the importance of scholarly contributions in the disciplines of tawhid and hadith; the contributions of the scholars in the fields of fiqh and tasawwuf; the significance of the al-Maturidi school within the Ahl al-Sunna wa’l-Jama‘a; the works of Shaykh Muhammad Karam Shah al-Azhari and his relationship with his shuyukh. During the discussion, Shaykh M I H Pirzada presented some of his written works as gifts to Shaykh Muhammad al-Ninowy. Shaykh Muhammad al-Ninowy commented that he had come across Shaykh M I H Pirzada’s Imdad al-Fiqh fi’l-‘Ibadat when he was researching on contemporary works on the Hanafi fiqh of worship. Shaykh Muhammad al-Ninowy then signed the guest book of Jamia Al-Karam commenting, “I pray to Allah Ta‘ala to make this effort even more fruitful, make it an ongoing continuous effort to revive the Deen in the hearts of the Muslim Ummah.” After lunch, Shaykh Muhammad al-Ninowy prepared to leave Jamia Al-Karam. Before departing, he made a generous contribution to Jamia Al-Karam and both shuyukh exchanged words of gratitude and thanks.
