After the notable and hugely celebrated success of Al-Karam Secondary School for Boys, Jamia Al-Karam is pleased to announce the launch of the Al-Karam Girls School Project. Seven acres of Jamia Al-Karam's land at Eaton Hall, Retford, Nottinghamshire, has been designated for the construction of Al-Karam Girls School. Full planning permission for the new development has been granted by Bassetlaw District Council, 3 August 2007. Al-Karam Girls School will be a secondary school with full education, boarding and catering facilities. The estimated cost of construction & landscaping is £5 million. The Al-Karam Secondary School for Boys has taken first position in the Notts county GCSE league tables three times in its short history of nine years of GCSE examinations. Jamia Al-Karam now aims to cater for a girls school and provide the same facilities and high level of education.
